"Well, I have gone to all this trouble registering with this site.  Now how do I get privileges to do all those fancy things you have been promising?"

Since I do not have a access to the complete membership list, the problem becomes how do I determine who should have access to the private areas?

Unless someone comes up with a better way to do this, you will need to contact someone at the IUEC Local 139 Office and have them either e-mail me or call me with your information.

An e-mail sent from the local's e-mail address sent to the web site's address (iuec139aa@bellsouth.net) should be sufficiant in most cases and should include your name and the user name that you previously registered with.

If you do not know your name, this will make it more difficult to upgrade you, but not necessarily impossible.

Also, anyone that has already been confirmed as a Member (upgraded to at least 1 step beyond registered user), can then also refer other members to the list.

Any referals coming not coming from the IUEC Local 139's e-mail address must be sent from the e-mail address of an existing Membership level user.  This must be from the same address that we have on file for that referrer.

At some point I expect to review the list and compare it to the membership list to verify that no one that does not belong in the private areas will not have access.

I just need a way to know who should and should not have access to the private areas of this web site.

Remember, I need to know:

  • Who is asking me for this upgrade.
  • Who are you.
  • Are you an IUEC Local 139 member
  • How can we find you in the web site's user list?

If you have any questions, please do not hesistate to contact me.
