ELEVATOR APPRENTICES

Elevator Constructors Recruiting apprentices in the Miami, Ft Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Naples area for its 4 year program.

Must have high school diploma or GED, pass an aptitude test, and be able to perform work of the trade. A $25 testing fee is required at the time of test.

NOTICE APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITY

The International Union of Elevator Constructors, Local 11 Joint Apprenticeship Committee, located at 1579 Summit Road Cincinnati, OH 45237, will be accepting applications for its 4-year program on the following dates:

March 13, 2006 8am-10am
March 14, 2006 2pm-4pm
March 15, 2006 8am-10am
March 20, 2006 2pm-4pm
March 21, 2006 8am-10am
March 22, 2006 2pm-4pm

Requirements:

  • Applications must be made in person.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age, valid identification and a copy of high school diploma or GED.
  • Applicant must pass an aptitude exam. ($25.00 fee due at time of exam)
  • Interview with JATC Local 11.
  • Recruits must be willing to submit to a drug test.

INTERNATIONAL UNION OF ELEVATOR CONSTRUCTORS LOCAL 135 JOINT APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE

We will be taking applications for new hires on (Monday, March 13, 2006) from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Minimum age for applications is 18.

Applicants must bring with them the following information or they will not be given an application: Original and copies of: Valid Drivers License, High School Diploma/GED and Military Discharge (DD-214), if applicable. This does not mean we will hire anyone. There will be no Exceptions made, we are taking applications on this day and time ONLY.

NOTICE APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITY

The International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 16 New Orleans, LA. Joint Apprenticeship Program will be accepting requests for entrance into its 4-year Apprenticeship Program, in the New Orleans Area.

All requests must be postmarked between March 1, 2006 and, March 21, 2006. For an application package send your request in writing to:

Please include your Name, Address and Telephone Number with your written request. A $25.00 Testing fee is requires at the time of the examination. The Elevator Constructors perform construction, modernization, service, and repair on various types of elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, and people movers.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, Be capable of performing the physical requirements of the job, pass a valid drug test, pass an entrance examination, and site for an interview. Further information will be provided after receipt of the written request. Please follow the above instructions and do not call the LOCAL UNION HALL.
