NOTICE
APPRENTICESHIP OPPORTUNITY
The International Union of Elevator Constructors Local 16 New Orleans, LA. Joint Apprenticeship Program will be accepting requests for entrance into its 4-year Apprenticeship Program, in the New Orleans Area. All requests must be postmarked between November 29, 2005 and, December 15, 2005. For an application package send your request in writing to:

6320 Manchester Ave. Suite 44B
Kansas City, MO 64133

Please include your Name, Address and Telephone Number with your written request. A $25.00 Testing fee is requires at the time of the examination. The Elevator Constructors perform construction, modernization, service, and repair on various types of elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, and people movers.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or GED, Be capable of performing the physical requirements of the job, pass a valid drug test, pass an entrance examination, and site for an interview. Further information will be provided after receipt of the written request. Please follow the above instructions and do not call the LOCAL UNION HALL.

The Elevator Constructors are an Equal Opportunity Employer. The recruitment, selection, employment, and training of apprentices during their apprenticeship shall be without discrimination because of age, race, color, religion, national origin, or sex.
