Welcome to Local 71!
Greetings from Miami, Florida, home to Local 71 of the International Union of Elevator Constructors.We are the mechanics, apprentices and helpers that build, maintain, repair, and modernize elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters,stage lifts, moving walks, wheelchair lifts and other vertical transportation equipment in South Florida.We are an AFL/CIO affiliated labor union. We provide bargaining unit representation, education, pension, medical, dental, vision plan and other traditional union services to our approximately 1000 members.

Local 71 Blood Drive

Local 71 is sponsoring a blood drive on Monday, November 10th between the hours of 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm, on the night of the November union meeting. Community Blood Centers has informed us that they are in dire need of blood as there is a shortage right now. So, won't you roll up your sleeves, and help us save lives? Local 71 Western Caribbean Cruise

The International Union of Elevator Constructors, Local 71 is preparing to launch on its second cruise!
